Brass Fringe Teardrops - Multiple Colors Available
In July of 2017 the staff at Mercy House Global visited the hard working women of Have Hope and were able to teach them how to create these beautiful fringe earrings. This Artisan group began as an outreach of Mercy House Global to 20 women in a slum in Kenya. They have been meeting together for Bible study since 2010 and began making jewelry as a way to earn sustainable income and to provide for their families. The brass diamond is sourced locally out of the largest slum in Kenya, is made out of melted and molded recycled bicycle parts, and empowers artisans there through dignified work.

The brass teardrop is sourced locally out of the largest slum in Kenya and is made out of melted and molded recycled brass parts. These brass shapes are then transported to the workshop of Have Hope where women sit and tie thread to create these unique Fair Trade fringe statement earrings.
